TRX4MLC3
For Traxxas TRX4M®
Lights and RC Controller (Remote Headlight and Auxiliary LightControl)
Have you wanted to upgrade your factory ESC in your TRX4M but hesitated because you don't know how to keep the body's built-in LED lighting* working? Maybe this is the answer!
See it working here:

Using this light controller will reactivate your lights and give you the following:
Brake Lights
Reverse Lights
Running Lights (front lights will be on at a reduced intensity as well as the taillights)
Automatic Hazard Lights (these activate when the brakes have been on for more than about 15 seconds)
Manual Headlights (these require a three-position channel to operate)
When you use a standard receiver and ESC (note that the ESC needs to be set up with "crawler reverse") this controller plugs between the ESC and receiver so that it can read the throttle signal, it then outputs a signal that will operate the LEDs on your TRX4M so that you have brake and reverse lights. The headlights and aux lights operate using a three-position channel on your transmitter. Position 1 is off, 2 is Headlights and 3 is Headlights and Aux. The aux output could be used for an item such as a light bar or rock lights. Be aware that this output gets power from the receiver so your BEC will determine the voltage.
Position 1: Headlights and Auxiliary Lights off
Position 2: Headlights on, Auxiliary Lights off
Position 3: Headlights and Auxiliary Lights On
If you notice that the reverse lights turn on when you drive forward, cut the white wire loop (insulate the ends afterward). If you prefer operating without the automatic hazard lights, cut the orange wire loop (insulate the ends afterward).
